Koalas are herbivores, meaning they only eat plants. Koalas are very picky eaters.They only eat eucalyptus leaves. If they cannot find eucalyptus leaves, they will not eat!!! Koalas rarely drink water. They get water from eucalyptus leaves. Koalas have been known to eat wattle, tea tree, paperbark, and pine species. But, that is not part of their normal diet.
